Effective Sewer Blockage Removal – Woollahara

Woollahra Project Summary

Mint Plumbing were called to a property in Woollahra after the second-floor toilet became blocked. Residents noticed slow drainage and needed a quick fix. As a trusted Woollahra plumber, we responded promptly.

Inspection Findings: Root Intrusions and Pipe Damage Causing Sewer Blockage

Using CCTV through a rear inspection opening we found the upstream PVC pipes were good. Downstream the older earthenware pipes had several points where tree roots had caused a severe blockage, especially around a dislodged joint. This was restricting flow and causing the toilet to back up.

Our Solution: Clearing Blockages with High
Pressure Jet Blasting

We cleared the blockage with high pressure jet blasting focusing on root affected and dislodged sections. After jetting a CCTV re-inspection confirmed full clearance. We also flow tested the line multiple times with toilet paper to ensure proper drainage. The toilet pan was fully unblocked and draining freely.

The Result: Sewer Line Restored
and Fully Functional

The sewer line is now clear and functioning properly, all root intrusions removed. The system is draining freely and the toilet is working as expected.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. By far the best trade business I’ve dealt with. Very fast and professional service which genuinely impressed me; super friendly on the phone, scheduled me in straight away, worked around my availability, and called ahead before arriving.

George in particular was a legend. He worked through different solution options with me, was transparent with options and costs, did the job quickly but professionally, is helping us source the style of fittings we want through his supplier, and was just an overall very friendly, happy, knowledgeable guy. We have more work to do in the future and we’ll definitely be looking to get George back in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our pipes jetted by Liam and Alex last week and they were fabulous. This week we had the pipes relined by Robbie and Ben and they were lovely, professional and went above and beyond to get everything done quickly and efficiently. Kept the house and courtyard clean as well, which was much appreciated. Great experience. 💕

Even got a pen!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. George is a good plumber. He is friendly, on time and does the work well.

George is transparent about the prices charged by his company well though prices are perhaps slightly on the higher end.
